Marasandra 3rd day

We went in the evening at around 7 pm. The scene at this hour was quite different from the previous two days. It was dark and not much light was there in the village. The houses were well lit but there were no street lights.
They were not much people outside. Only the area where there are big concrete houses had 3-4 street lights, the other portion did not have any street light pole. After a little talking to someone living there we got to know that they tend to stay inside after its dark as there is no street light. And they do get electricity poles, but only during elections.

Almost every house there had an access to t.v. and cable. They had pulled wires from various electricity poles and were able to light there houses through them.

*Reflective statement- Their time of the day is resticted. They have to finish all the outside work before it gets dark, not by choice but by compulsion.
